WENDY WALKER
"OTI"

Oti is a singer-songwriter and actress from Alberta and otherwise known as Wendy Walker. She takes on the name OTI, an abbreviation of the Cree word Otipemisiwak, meaning people who own themselves. Her songs explore the strong cultural heritage of the Native community, together with her band Crystal Raven. Oti's songs take the listener on a special journey down a river of dreams and desires of a proud people striving to preserve the spirit of the past while searching for a brighter tomorrow.
